These are the words of my original post on this subject, but unfortunately after 100 viewings, nobody has suggested their own 7 best characteristics of an entrepreneur. This leads me to believe that the subject is popular, but that people are looking for the definition of the attributes.

It therefore falls to me to help the discussion along the way, by sharing with you my own thoughts regarding the 7 best attributes. So here we go…

1. Imagination
This is the first requirement for any entrepreneur. Without this faculty it’s not possible to concieve of, and then formulate, a plan with which to accomplish the desired outcome.

2. Desire
The entrepreneur must have a burning desire, a passion, that will drive them forward, enabling the execution of the plan. Sometimes this may only be by small steps, at others, giant leaps forward. Definiteness of purpose mixed with a burning desire does not recognise failure.

3. Faith And Conviction
You must know that without faith in the plan, or in your own abilities, that the entrepreneur may fail at the first difficult hurdle. Remember. that the loss of one small skirmish does not mean the loss of the battle. Remain focused and convinced that success is ultimately yours.

4. Persistence
Take persistent action to complete each small step of the plan. Form habits that are consistent with achieving your goals. Form a daily routine consistent with promoting the plan.

5. Knowledge And Adaptation
Continually garner knowledge on your chosen niche, then implement any new knowledge, through imagination, by incorperation into the plan. To stay ahead of the game, it is necessary to adapt and to lead.

6. Courage
You must be able to control your mind to such an extent, as to banish indecision, doubt and fear. The first leads to the second thence to the third – Fear. While in this state of mind there is no doubt that your goals will never be achieved. Whether you aspire for financial, material, spiritual, or mental goals, you will need courage, determination and will-power. With these in control, fear cannot get a foot hold in your mind.

7. Generosity Of Heart
Give Before Receiving. This is a basic tenet of living a decent life. Giving makes two people happy

With these attributes there is no doubt the entrepreneur will succeed, but what is success. How do we measure success. Is it by the bank balance, good standing in society, admiration from your peers?

You have an option to share the article in your Shared Items page of the reader, with or without a comment by yourself and you can tag each post (on your Shared Items page and in the Google search engine) as a searchable, indexed article on your profile page in Google. The tags work much the same way as keywords connected to your article of choice, and they are linked directly to yourself and your brand or link. It’s one alternative option to paying for keywords with PPC, and it’s a free option too!

There are other tools in the reader that let you share things by email, like an article, search Google blogs for more content on related subjects, and design your Shared Items page as a profile with your links and references. You can invite contacts to your Shared Items page and connect with them through reader, share the items this way and also promote your page url in directories and feeds. I always list my Shared Items page as an RSS feed on one of my blogs and I even feed it to Twitter.

It’s an excellent way to organize your favorite blogs and share them with friends and contacts. You can easily list the business topics you are looking at currently in the reader and share them in an rss feed on a webpage or blog. Actually you can use the url as you would use any other feed you normally use.

Getting the great content is the best part of a service like this, and sharing and linking to the best content out there is even better. It’s also a good way to stay on top of your niche with new and fresh content.

Rather than spending so much time buliding links to your website search your niche and find something that is missing whether an idea or perhaps a presence such as a forum or other type of site and build it. I have noticed a lack of niche video sites perhaps this is an unproductive endeavor or perhaps you could make millions only time will tell. Anyways make an effort to find what is missing throughout your niche and fill the gap. You may want to call this niche marketing, but rather than finding a niche an only creating a website try to figure out what that niche is really missing and rather than doing a bland old website put forth the effort to find what that niche is really missing.

The last thing I would like to discuss with you is it is ok to let others know you have just finished creating a new presence post or whatever you just built. This is why it is good to build relationships with bloggers in your niche so they can blog about whatever you built. There are those on twitter who have thousands of followers these are excellent people to get on your side. Most social bookmarking sites have a community aspect that allow you to communicate with others. What this does is give you as a webmaster/blogmaster/forumaster the ability to make friends on a platform that thrives on voting you have a new post on digg + a bunch of friends on digg you will have a steady stream of votes pushing you above the rest. Now it is not easy and this can not be done quickly, but if you put in the time to realy build virtual relationships it will pay off.
