Many people desire to ditch their steady jobs and set up their own businesses; however, becoming a business owner is not for everyone. An entrepreneur needs the following specific personality characteristics in order to succeed.

Key Character Traits:

1) Self-Discipline and Self-Determination – There are several key skills and personal characteristics that an entrepreneur needs, but they can all be summed up as a self-starter who has a tendency for taking action; someone who is an “actor” in the game of life, not only someone who watches from the sidelines.

2) Leadership and Inspiration – An entrepreneur will have to “sell” his/her ideas to a large community of people, probably starting with a banker or other investment partner, and continuing through a recurrent stream of contacts with both suppliers and customers. Personal integrity and character are paramount.

3) An Upbeat Viewpoint Rather than a Gloomy Mindset – An entrepreneur must be able to perceive the positives in any event and to think about a positive outcome, regardless of the problems or brick walls one might currently be encountering.

4) A Good Imagination and Ability to Build or Invent – An entrepreneur must also be able to leave the boundaries of contemporary thinking and restraining assumptions, and to think creatively, including the ability to perceive opportunities where others see only constraints and obstacles.

5) Willingness to Take Justifiable Risks – Risks are present in any enterprise, and the entrepreneur must be able to instantly and properly evaluate the risks inherent in his/her proposed opportunity, and then must have the courage and determination to act when the occasion is right.

In effect, an entrepreneur sees a problem that is currently unmet – or insufficiently met – and develops a solution satisfying the demands of a specific market niche.

Anyone that can creatively solve problems in the surroundings, sustain self-control and self-discipline, along with an optimistic attitude and also the desire and motivation to succeed will do just that – succeed.

If you are missing some of these traits, enterpreneuring may not be the best solution for your future success and financial security; however, if you do share the above characteristics, you too can become a successful business owner.

The only way t o build a good opt – in list is to win people’s heart.  They have to trust you.  On the internet it is that more difficult. Trust building is a time consuming task.

Trust In Yourself

Trust In Yourself

For new entrepreneurs it maybe very well the biggest obstacle to a successful online business. Unscrupulous internet marketers let many newbies believe that one can achieve instant online success. That is a myth.

You cannot start today your business and expects to be a successful online marketer the next day. What is true is that the faster you build your opt-in list the faster word about your site get spread and the faster you are propel to success.   Your bigger opt-in list leads to more traffic and that ensure more profits for you.

Trust is build upon expertise.  One do not become an expert in a day, it is lifetime job.  Therefore, for people to trust you, you have to convey a surety, an approachable character an openness.  You have to build a system where you can communicate with your subscriber. You must become a trust worthy friend.

Know your product. Give freely tips, guidelines, reviews and features of the products and services you provide.   Do not talk about science fiction if your subscribers want to hear about the art of scuba diving.  Stay with what you are good in.  Find new innovative ways to convey fresh quality ideas and products to your subscriber friends.

Don’t exaggerate. If you have not tested a product,  do not make claims about their effectiveness.  The more satisfied subscriber friends you have the bigger probability that they will recommend you.  Think about it. You trust somebody.   Someone else is asking you about the person you trust.  Are you going to recommend that person or his service?  Absolutely! This is a sure way to build your opt-in list.

Are Your List Slipping Away?

Are Your List Slipping Away?

Provide your subscriber friends with an escape hatch.  Show them that you are not there to trap them.  Many possible opt-ins are wary that they may be stuck for life, or that they would have to abandon their email accounts.  I had such an experience.   I tried to unsubscribe from this person’s list, but their unsubscribe link was just taking me to another website.  I marked that as spam.

The trust of your subscriber friends are the most precious commodity on the net. Do not abuse your loyal friends trust by sharing or selling their email addresses.

The true quickest way to gain subscriber friends trust is when someone they trust recommends you.

Suddenly you get the most amazing internet business idea. With no concern for anybody else, you drop everything and start working on your new idea. This idea is so encompassing that you become an almost recluse in pursuing it.

Then the seemingly inevitable happens. You lose the passion. Your enthusiasm wanes. Indeed, you get a little bored working on your project, and eventually you stop working on it.

Soon enough the cycle repeats when another exciting ideas hits you. Does it sound familiar to you?

Sometimes on business forums, you read about people who start from nothing logoand go on to do great things. In addition, others spend years without getting anywhere. What is the difference? It has nothing to do with an introvert or extrovert entrepreneur, or the level of knowledge or skill.

It leaves you with your mindset;

The Entrepreneurial Marketing Mindset.

The fear of success surprises some people. After all, if success were what you are hoping, dreaming and planning for, why would you be afraid of it? Simple: Because a fear of success is really a fear of the unknown.

I use the following acronym for fear: False Evidence Appearing Real. Success means stepping out of your comfort zone. Fears tend to manifest always in the same way, including through procrastination, perfectionism and making excuses. To beat this you have to recognize that these behaviors signal fear.

By acknowledging your fear, you are taking the first step on conquering it.

Perfectionism is socially acceptable – even admired. What happen here is that you keep telling yourself not to put out a product, sales letter or marketing campaign until its “perfect.” However, it will never be perfect – and so you spend weeks and months tweaking something that could have already been putting money in your pocket. Fighting back and conquering perfectionism is the same as any other fear: Recognize it, reflect on why you might be doing it, and then roll out a course of action and start taking small steps.

The most common way to show fear is by blaming someone else or something else for your disappointments… True entrepreneurs take full responsibility for their disappointments and failures. Your ability to recognize this fear will enable you to start taking control of your business (and your live) and start enjoying success.

I see my online business as a journey. Along the journey, there are many obstacles and disappointments to overcome. Willingly make changes and adapting certain behaviors, attitudes and operations to reach your goal.

That is the entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs focus on what they want. Be grateful for what you have and be grateful for what is coming.

Focus your intentions and desires on the emotion of what you want, such as how you will feel when you get it. Do not ever say, “I don’t have enough money.” Say, instead, “I’m grateful that I have an abundance of money.” Yes, you say that even when you do not yet have what you perceive to be abundance… because what you focus on, what you think about, expands and becomes reality.

A successful online business entrepreneur constantly examines themselves, their way of doing things, changing and evolving their business operations to ensure sustainable success.

Be true to your own unique self. You deserve it.

What you need to know before you start!

Being an entrepreneur is very appealing but not everyone can become one.  One of the quickest and easiest ways to become a successful entrepreneur is by working at home through a home-based entrepreneur business.

Firstly, you need to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.  Aside from the evaluation process, you must know how to plan, organize, staff and control. As an entrepreneur these are your responsibilities. In order to be successful you must be able to work alone and remember as the boss all business decisions will be made by you.

There are always business problems and risks. Risks go hand in hand with any business undertaking.  However, you can reduce the risks by choosing the best home-based entrepreneur business that will work for you.

princips_entrepreneur_616Entrepreneurs are known to be self-starters.  Organizing your time is a difficult task but of utmost importance. This is your business and you are responsible for it at all times.

The next thing to consider is that you may encounter demanding customers, moody vendors, and an unreliable staff.  Running an online business is all about your attitude and character.  As mentioned earlier, entrepreneurs are risk-takers, self-starters, and know how to deal with different kinds of people.

Decision making is another trait that a successful entrepreneur should posses. Some situations are filled with pressures but despite the pressures, you still need to make an informed and wise decision.

To be an effective online business entrepreneur,  you must have lots of energy and superior work ethic.  Owning an online business may mean working late hours and on weekends.  However, you must not be pressured of your tasks. View them as challenges and strive even harder. Your efforts will be rewarded once you see the profits rolling in.

If you know the responsibilities of an entrepreneur, then you can assess if you can become successful in an online business. Working at home through a home-based entrepreneur business requires dedication and hard work. You must be able to monitor your finances, tasks, inventory, work schedules, and many others.

Good luck and may your chosen home-based business become a success.

Entrepreneurship is defined as exhibiting one’s vision, taking action, and pursuing that vision as a goal.  This means getting your butt out of that couch, doing something spectacular rather than being a couch potato. Here are some attitudes an entrepreneur should positively have:

blouknoppieOptimism – is the propensity to look at the bright side of any situation and expect the best possible outcome.  Optimism is powerfully motivational and is one of the cornerstones of success.

blouknoppieCreativityis thinking outside the box. Do you have the power or ability to invent something unique or to see things from another perspective?

blouknoppieStability – either physical, mental, social or emotional, a leader must possess a stable life which means you can handle tough situations during tough times

blouknoppieCharismatic – The potential to be a charismatic leader is within you.  A good entrepreneur must have magic glistening in his eyes and convey enchanting words to get hold of that convincing power no one care or dare resist.

blouknoppieRisk-takeras someone beginning his own dream. Are you prepared to engage in exciting, risky pursuits? When opportunity strikes nothing must hold you back.

blouknoppieEnergetic suggests sustained enthusiastic activity. Do whatever it takes and your enthusiasm never diminishes.

blouknoppieTime bound – an entrepreneur is always on the top of every innovation.  By looking at your past, you can predict your future.

Beginners have to stay positive about their endeavors.  You must be very observant of what your environment lacks and needs.
