This is by no means an extensive guide on blogging. It just gives you guidelines on how to start and to generate traffic with your blog to build your business.
As in all ventures you need to do extensive reading and research to become a true master. And that is the path that you want to go, because this business is in your hands. It will be as successful as your effort to make it on the net.

Why Should You Write A Blog?
You might use blogging as you might a photo album, to record your memories. Or as way of connecting to other people who share the same interests or business goals as you.
Recognition – it is a chance to develop a following and stand out as a subject area expert.
Employment opportunities – if you love writing it is also a way to build a resume of your writing skills that may lead to other opportunities.
Revenue – there is a very real chance to make money from your online writing. Either directly through advertising or indirectly through spin-off publications.
For business owners this is absolutely essential. Search engines favour websites that are updated regularly. Blogging is a great way to make sure that your content is always fresh. This gives you a much better shot of appearing high in the results of Google search.
Wordpress is very popular due to the fact that it has an enormous amount of Open Source. It comes with free support from its active community, and a huge array of free themes and plugins to enhance your blog with.

Before starting, go out and learn the competition. You have chosen your niche, now go out and visit as many blogs and websites as possible to see if there’s any room left for you. You don’t want to do a blog on something that is already overstocked. You want to create something extra unique.

The title is the most important part of the blog! Why’s that? Your title will either entice a reader to choose your blog above someone else’s. This is the make or break point.
You can think of the title as a label your article in the unlimited virtual library that the Internet is.
Once you have a great title the next thing worth thinking about is what happens when your reader actually arrives at your website.
Find Free or Cheap Images to Use in Your Blog
To spice up the appearance of your blog you need images that will compliment your content.
